Sticky Diamonds (a.k.a.
Stick 'em on ya teeth Diamonds) is a totally new concept in body art.
Our tiny crystals glue onto the tooth to create a little something
extra in your smile. The're fun, safe, non-toxic and best of all,
not permanent! There great if you'd like to try something very new,
and completely different.

So What Are They?
The stones that we use are tiny drops of molded glass with a reflective
foil backing, specially produced to last longer in your mouth
(unlike normal jewelry and fashion stones)
And How Are
They Attached?
There's no drilling! To apply the stone, we first clean the tooth,
then prepare the area, before gluing the stone on with dental
adhesives. The stones are glued onto the surface of the tooth
enamel, like braces and therefore, there are no invasive techniques.
The procedures we use were developed with the assistance of a
NSW dentist to be quick, simple and completely safe.

How Long Will They Last?
This is a very difficult question to answer because of the number of
variables involved. We can say that our stones will last over a month
but 3-9 months is normal and diamonds lasting well over a year is not
unusual. Check the 'Caring for your stone' section below for a full
list of factors effecting their lifespan.
So How Do I Get One Off?
If you tire of your stone or just want a change, they can be picked
off with a fingernail. However, we officially recommend you see your
dentist who can easily and quickly remove it. Alternatively, it is a
principal of Sticky Diamonds to remove our stones for free (sorry, no
refunds). Check our list of places and dates below to catch up with
us.

Is There Any Risk Of Damage To The Tooth?
No, not at all. The Sticky Diamonds team always follow dental processes
and all our work is done only on the tooth's exterior. There is, however,
a chance of marking through tooth discolouration. If your a heavy smoker,
or drink a lot of coffee, tea or cola drinks, your teeth will slowly
yellow and if the diamond stays on for a very long time (well over a
year) it may leave a tiny white spot when removed. This mark will fade
over time, or more cigarettes. Alternatively, you can have your teeth
whitened to bring them back to their previous colour.
What About Hygiene?
As stated previously, none of our work is invasive, ruling out risks
of transference of blood born viruses and diseases. However, because
we work in peoples mouths we must be careful that cross-contamination
from saliva does not occur. To guard against this, the Sticky Diamonds
operators have been trained in dental hygiene techniques and follow
a strict application process which is available for viewing upon request
from sticky staff.

Caring
For Your Stone.
If you've already been stuck, here are a list of things to do,
to ensure that your stone lasts as long as possible.
1. Don't pick at it! Uninvited picking is the number one killer
of Sticky Diamonds.
2. Watch out for foods that can physically push or pull at the
stone such as toffee, chewing gums or any particularly chewy lolly.
This is especially important for people whose diamonds are towards
the bottom of the tooth.
3. Drink a little water after acidic fruit juices, strong fizzy
drinks and even mouth wash. These liquids will eventually damage
the adhesives when used regularly, so to make your tooth diamond
last longer rinse with a little water afterwards.
Lastly, make sure you brush your teeth like usual to stop plaque
build up around the stone. Brushing won't damage the stone, so
go for it.
