Steve prefers to work at Main Beach Byron having found it to be the best sand and the best people in Australia.

Steve's Sand Castles have become a tourist landmark for anyone travelling to the Byron Bay area. These castles take around six hours to build made of nothing but sand, water, and imagination. They are completed at sunset when the candles bring the sculptures to new life. So go for a stroll down on Main Beach one evening and see what you find!

Steve has been a resident of Byron Bay for a year and a half and on a sunny day can be found on Main Beach creating his magic. He has been making sandcastles for three years. His remarkable creations have taken him all over the country from competition to convention then back to the beach.
