Deep within the North Coast Forest, among the trees, gullies
and Byron streets there exist a number of beings. Calling themselves
faeries, considering themselves to be of the fair race, dressing
in wofty garments, they follow ways that may seem peculiar to
outsiders. Some have wings, others recite poetry, and a special
few dance like there is no tomorrow. But don't be fooled - these
ways are based on ancient practices and they hold strange powers
in these parts.
You now have been gently warned.
Faeries will often be seen at North Coast gatherings such as
the festival circuit, natural places, markets and protests.
There are faeries for night, day, Summer, Spring, Autumn, Winter,
water, earth, fire and air. Being akin to the elements, it is
natural that they are attracted to nature spots. So if you stand
still, you may be able to experience them and feel the faerie
wings touch lightly on your cheek or see a magic faerie wand
glowing on a tree.

Faerie Chant:
Try this chant when in a North Coast forest and see what it
brings:
Faeries come out, come out where-ever you
Please thy eye and ear
Pass out thy magic
